DIGITAL ENGLISH READER  

During this week we had an unexpected guest visit us ! Our professor Dr. Sasikumar came in for observation. He also gave us many valuable tips and cleared our doubts regarding teaching practice. This week was filled with full of love, coordination as the school conducted a Donation programme  of giving  POTHICHORU to RCC which is collected from the students and teachers of the school. The activities were done under the NCC ,SPC students with great dedication.

  TEACHING PRACTICE EXPERIENCE IN COTTON HILL SCHOOL                                                           The first and second week of teaching practice was really an unforgettable one. It was a pleasant experience to catch up with my students and receive their love and affection. Their interest for the class itself a right motivation for me to prepare effectively for the class. We the group of 3 teacher trainees of English Optional Subject went to meet our Head Master, she reminded us about the rules of the school and importance of discipline and classroom management.        Teacher allotted me to take classes in 8I and 9 F. The classes were so good and I liked the performance of students. School assembly conducts on Monday and Thursday. There provide meals at noon everyday. We had participated in mid-day meal serving.   The third  week of teaching practice at COTTON HILL SCHOOL was filled with some good memories of arts and sports. Most of the students were busy preparing for the State School Science Festival. Truly it was a beautiful sight to see these cheerful kids put their hearts and souls into an event.  The exhibition was conducted with the support of the Students police Cadet of the school and the Police officers of the respective Station. The seminar was a reminder to the parents to properly bring up their children safely in the present world.                                            

 MICRO TEACHING - SKILL OF ILLUSTRATING WITH EXAMPLES .                           Skill of illustrating examples is the type of microteaching which is the explanation and presentation of ta particular concept with interesting examples which is relevant to the concept. The topic of the Micro Teaching was ADVERB  and I provided many examples from easier to difficult tp understand the concept deeply.   

A Field Trip or Excursion is a journey by a group of B.ed Trainers to a place away from their normal environment for the purpose of education or leisure to learn in a practical way  and it means a bridge between formal and non- formal education.  We went to the places like CHITHARAL , JAIN ROCK TEMPLE, MATHOOR HANGING BRIDGE, PADMANABHAPURAM PALACE, THIRPARAPPU, VATTAKOTAI, KANYAKUMARI . There were arranged certain to student- trainees such as food committee, finance committe, discipline committee, first aid committee etc. This helps in improving student trainees to improve their social and interactive skills.
